The origin of our business dates back to the Great East Japan Earthquake. At that time, due to the shortage of electricity, many people lost their lives because pacemakers stopped functioning, and the heart waveforms couldn’t be recorded, meaning changes in electrocardiogram (ECG) patterns went unnoticed.

Furthermore, due to restrictions on the secondary use of heart data, it was difficult to fully understand heart diseases and prevent sudden deaths.

Our wearable ECG device business started with the desire to utilize the “big data of the heart” and prevent sudden deaths in people after the relaxation of regulations on the secondary use of data.
